Privacy Policy

How the JWS Executive app, a dashboard for authorised JWS Pakistan staff, handles your information: what it collects, why, where it is kept and the choices you have.

01About this policy

JWS Executive is a mobile dashboard for authorised JWS Pakistan staff. It shows summary figures about JWS operations (clients, portfolio, disbursement, recovery and compliance) so that leaders can follow the business from their phone.

This policy explains what the app collects, why, where it is kept, and the choices you have. It covers this app only. It does not cover JWS websites or JWS internal systems, which have their own policies.

The app is not a public or consumer app. There is no sign-up. You can only use it if JWS has given your existing JWS (MCOS) account permission to use the dashboard.

02Information we collect and how we use it

Business figures. Summary figures about JWS operations, limited to your permission, such as totals by region, district and branch.To show the dashboard. A copy is saved so the app opens at once and can show the last known figures when you are offline.Fetched from JWS servers. The saved copy lives in the app's private storage on your phone.
Fingerprint or Face ID. Optional.To unlock your saved sign-in quickly.Handled only by your phone's operating system. The app receives a yes or no answer. It never sees or stores your fingerprint or face data.

The app shows summary figures. It does not display the personal details of individual clients, such as their names, CNIC numbers, phone numbers or addresses.

Branch map. The map screen loads map pictures from OpenStreetMap. The map provider can see your phone's IP address and the area of the map being shown, as with any web map. We send it no personal information.

03What the app does not collect

  • Your location (GPS).
  • Your contacts, photos, camera, microphone or files.
  • Advertising identifiers. The app has no advertising.
  • Analytics or tracking. The app contains no third-party advertising, analytics or crash-reporting tools.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it to track you across other apps or websites.

04Who we share information with

We do not sell or rent information. We share it only:

  • with the service providers that host or support JWS systems, who must keep it confidential and use it only for that purpose;
  • with OpenStreetMap, as described for the map above;
  • when the law, a court or a regulator (such as the State Bank of Pakistan or the SECP) requires it.

05How we protect information

  • The app talks to JWS servers over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
  • Your sign-in token is kept in the phone's secure storage and expires. The server can also stop it working at any time, for example if your dashboard access is removed.
  • The server decides what each person may see. A branch user cannot see another branch's figures.
  • The saved copy of the figures is kept in the app's private storage, which other apps cannot read. Keep a passcode or biometric lock on your phone, and report a lost phone to JWS IT so your access can be removed.

No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and review our controls regularly.

06How long we keep information

  • On your phone. The sign-in token and the saved figures stay until you sign out, the token expires or is cancelled, or you uninstall the app. If you have turned on fingerprint or Face ID unlock, signing out keeps the saved sign-in so that your fingerprint or face can unlock it again. Turn that off in Account to remove it fully.
  • On JWS servers. Account records and technical logs are kept for as long as JWS's internal retention rules and legal record-keeping duties require.

07Your choices

  • Sign out at any time from the Account screen.
  • Turn biometric unlock on or off in the Account screen.
  • Delete local data by uninstalling the app.
  • Accounts. There is no separate app account. Your access comes from your JWS account. To correct your details or have your dashboard access removed, contact your administrator or the contact below.

You may also ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, as far as applicable law allows. Contact us using the details in section 10.

08Children

The app is for JWS staff. It is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

09Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example if the app gains a new feature. The date at the top shows when it last changed. For significant changes we will tell users inside the app or by email.
